Secret Apartment Show

SAS is a site specific project, designed for international artists and their special guests.
This exhibition explores divergent plots and narratives, giving space to intimate encounters with intriguing artworks in the setting of the mysterious secret apartment, situated in the hub of the iconic Arsenale.

Curated by Ann Grim and co curated by Vanya Balogh, this exhibition captures mini zeitgeist in the lives of artists, the now and beyond of their universe, a post pandemic response and reflex, in ever more fragmented, schizophrenic, complex world that is evolving around us.

Exploring the themes of biology, science, technology, displacement, unbearable sex and inevitable war, the works express ambiguous destinations for humanity and investigate tension space between real and imagined. A selection of works presented as site specific ideas horizontally collide with objects and works in all media carefully presented across the rooms and spaces of this Venetian apartment.
